| Downtown Vacaville ’s Songwriters’ Finals Are Happening Next Tuesday March 2nd The Downtown Vacaville merchants have been hosting a fantastic singer/songwriters’ competition over the past 7 weeks. It’s all coming to a close next Tuesday March 2nd with the finals taking place at the Los Reyes Restaurant which is located at Town Square . It all starts at 7 pm but come early if you want a seat as there will be a crowd. This past Tuesday was the last night of competition and it featured 2 winners giving a total of 8 finalists now. Tuesday’s winners were Jesse Crosson and Brothers along with Allie and Chris. They will be joining Steve Clark, Loraine Meek, Randy Donaldson, Samantha Choy, Starlene Haney, and Rebecca & Marcel. There were 110 acts that turned out to perform their 1 original song over the 7 weeks of competition and the judges have been highly impressed with the talent that has shown up for this event. The winner on March 2nd will win a cash award and will be the opening act on Ladies Night March 10th. Ladies Night is a Downtown event that features our barber, beauty and health salons hosting open houses along with our restaurants having specials too. The guys are invited too! Music will be taking place at WineStyles with Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Tamra Engle along with the winner of the songwriters’ competition. It’s promising to be a great night in “The Heart Of The City” and a great year!
