Richard Marx
For over 20 years, Richard Marx has consistently and powerfully made his mark on the music industry. His
debut single "Don't Mean Nothing" in 1987 sold 3 million copies. His 1989 follow-up CD, "Repeat Offender"
became even more successful, selling over 7 million copies worldwide. From 1987 to 1990, he became the first
male solo artist in history to have his first 7 singles reach the top 5 on Billboard's singles chart, including the
hits "Hold on to the Nights," "Satisfied," and the worldwide classic "Right Here Waiting." This feat remains
unchallenged.
In addition to selling over 30 million records, and writing thirteen #1 songs, he has remained a fixture on pop
and adult contemporary radio for years, even as he emerged as a top producer working with some of the
biggest names in the music business.
The show is "all acoustic" featuring a string quartet, a few well told personal stories and a conversational vibe
fans love.

Better Than Ezra
Better Than Ezra is a million selling "indie" band with hits like "Good" and "A Lifetime" that sells out venues
coast to coast and enjoys a legion of fans so faithful they've dubbed themselves the Ezralites.
2005s "Before the Robots" spawned BTE's radio hits "A Lifetime" and "Juicy." Their latest album project,
"Paper Empire" showcases lead singer Kevin Griffin's knack for creating an infectious melody and meaty lyric.
Bred in the southern college circuit that produced R.E.M. and The B-52s before them, BTE has made a point of
putting on a surprising, high-energy live show every time they hit the stage.
"You can never accuse Better Than Ezra of being a shoe gazer band," says Griffin, "There's usually something
different that we're gonna do in addition to a different set list every night when you come and see us. That's
our mantra - we put on a great show."
