Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre presents:

Mother Load

Prepare to laugh until you cry with the hilarious one-woman show that mixes motherhood, comedy and
true confession.

“Mother Load,” based on creator Amy Wilson’s own experience as the mother of three children under
five, has audiences lining up from coast to coast for a night of laughs about everything from prenatal
yoga to preschool applications. From organic baby food to self-important lactation consultants to the
perils of “mommy and me” classes, this laugh-out-loud show is an expose of the fruitless and every-
challenging quest to be the “perfect” mom.

Friday November 12th 8pm
Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre presents:

Al Stewart

With David Nachmanoff

Singer-songwriter Al Stewart, accompanied by Dave Nachmanoff, brings his unique blend of music and
storytelling to VPAT.

Al Stewart’s name will forever be tied to the summer of 1979 when his multi-million selling “Year of the
Cat” and “Time Passages” were staples of FM radio. In a way this is unfortunate, because there is
much more to this whimsical Scottish folksinger, who weaves humor and historical figures into his
polished story-songs.

Saturday March 12th 8pm

With the release of Uncorked in 2009, Al and musical partner Dave Nachmanoff take a trip through Stewart’
s musical back pages, both in terms of the musical catalogue and in terms of performance style.
Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre presents:

When they debuted in 1991 with the hit “Meet me in the Middle,” Diamond Rio became the first group
in the history of country music to have a debut single reach No. 1. They have since produced nine No.
1 hits and placed 32 more singles on the Billboard chart, including “How Your Love Makes Me Feel,”
“Norma Jean Riley,” “Beautiful Mess,” “Love a Little Stronger,” and “One More Day.”

Saturday April 2nd 8pm
Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre presents:

Arturo Sandoval

Arturo Sandoval is fluent in at least four musical languages: he can burn through an Afro-Cuban
groove, tear up a bebop tune, soar over a Mozart concerto and sooth you with a luscious ballad; with
equal power and grace.

A Cuban by birth, he was granted political asylum in July 1990 and US citizenship in 1999. Since
arriving in this country, he has evolved into one of the world’s most acknowledged guardians of jazz
trumpet and flugel horn, as well as a renowned classical artist, pianist and composer.

Arturo Sandoval has been awarded 4 Grammy Awards, 6 Billboard Awards and an Emmy Award. He is
one of the most dynamic and vivacious live performers of our time.
