Part of the Friday December 17th Alive Music Orchestra Christmas show at Valley Church in Vacaville, will incorporate sing-along carols made famous by a host of celebrity singers (Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole, etc.), is meant to remind people that the holidays are a season of peace, family and most importantly the miraculous birth of Christ says Stout, a trumpeter and AMO music director celebrating their upcoming 20th Anniversary. Enjoy AMO's Friends with renowned banjo player Don Kidder, big band vocal artist Pastor Frank Salamone of Cornerstone Church of Dixon, Pete Ayers, Barbara McFadden, as well as Keith Stout’s family: Ken, Art and Julie, paying tribute to our troops. As it has in years past, the AMO show will incorporate an American tradition originally founded by Bob Hope’s USO Christmas tours overseas, honoring and entertaining our troops. "We always include a special tribute to our troops and their families, praying for a safe return home," says Stout, an Air Force "brat" whose father served in Vietnam, "That's something we feel strongly about, especially around Christmas time. “Family Christmas Miracles” will include stories narrated by AMO's Chaplain Stan Suderow, encouraging families about the miracle of Christmas, especially, enlight of these uncertain economic times say Stout. The show will in part, be dedicated in memory of AMO’s very own lead trumpeter and dentist, Dr Roger Abrew.
